HAND WRAPS

Hand wraps are an essential accompaniment to your training. The reason for this is two-fold: for safety and for sanitation. The tight compression of a hand wrap keeps the wrist and hand safe and secure and helps to soften the feeling of impact for the puncher and to maintain the alignment of the small bones/tendons within that area of the body. Using hand wraps in combination with gloves provides an extra layer of protection from both impacts and bacteria. Just like wearing socks with shoes, wraps help to keep your gloves smelling fresh. Just be sure to wash your wraps after every use.

MUAY THAI GLOVES

Finding the perfect glove can be difficult. In general, choosing the right glove comes down to its use and its weight. 16oz gloves are a good place to start, perfectly suited for fighting, training and bag work. However, it is recommended to have two pairs of gloves; one for sparring and one for bag and pad work.

MUAY THAI SHIN GUARDS

There are a variety of Muay Thai Shin Guards available on the market but most don’t offer your shins and feet the level of protection required in Muay Thai. These Muay Thai Shin Guards are a combination of protection and functionality, with the Velcro closure positioned to ensure perfect support and an easy yet accurate adjustment. We have designed these insteps to protect your entire shin while still allowing maximum mobility to make sure you can perform at your peak.

OTHER USEFUL TRAINING EQUIPMENT

When it comes to training or sparring, first, find yourself a partner, as none of the following pieces of equipment are made for solo fighters. Having a training partner is also great for motivation as they push you through those final rounds.

The Muay Thai Belly Pad is perfect to cover your entire abdomen, and is ideal for punches to the belly, push kicks, side kicks and rib shots.

Designed for Boxing drills, our Boxing Mitts have a tear drop design, allowing for more surface space to do Muay Thai kicks, knees and elbows. For maximum coverage and protection of the foreman, opt for the Muay Thai Pads, which is designed for more kicking.

For the best Boxing Headgear for sparring, get a full faced sparring headgear that covers your brow line, cheeks, and jaw, but still has enough visibility to see out of your peripheral vision.
