Important information about bulky deliveries and heavy item delivery
Many of our fitness products are considered bulky or overweight deliveries. Orders with many heavy items, or any individual heavy weights over 60lb - 80lb may be shipped with an LTL service. Where an LTL service is used, your order will be packed and shipped on a pallet for safety and ease of shipment. LTL deliveries require a specialised tail lift truck, and the delivery address will require sufficient space to offload a loaded pallet from the truck. We highly recommend you ship to a business address, or if shipping to a home address, there needs to be sufficient space for a tail lift truck to park and unload. 

LTL deliveries require you to be onsite to accept the delivery. 

Please note, if you miss your LTL delivery appointment, Fedex will charge you a redelivery fee which is non-refundable. Failure to pay the redelivery fee will result in Fedex returning your order to our warehouse, and your order will be refunded to you minus the handling fees and charges that Fedex impose due to the missed LTL delivery appointment. 

Unloaded LTL Deliveries
The courier will deliver your LTL delivery as close as possible to your door, or kerbside which ever is accessible. The driver will not unpack the pallet, or move equipment inside. We suggest having two people ready to receive the delivery and secure it within your premises. Once the order is delivered, it is your responsibility to secure the delivery, and please check the contents within 48 hours. Claims made outside of 48 hours can not be accepted. 

 

When will my order be dispatched?
We aim to have your order dispatched within 2 business days. Please note, if we choose to ship your order with LTL, please allow an additional 1-2 business days for dispatch. During peak times there may be delays. Our distribution centre is located in Charleston, South Carolina and is closed on weekends and public holidays. If you place an order after 5pm any day, or between Friday evening to Sunday evening, please allow extra processing time as our dispatch team does not work over the weekend or nights. 

How long does delivery take?
Depending on delivery location, between 1 - 5 Business days. We ship with Fedex & XPO. Delivery can vary based on location and shipping option chosen. Our standard ground service maps for Fedex are below: (please note LTL orders will take 1-2 days longer)

We only ship to continental USA. Contact us for a shipping quote to Canada.  If you would like to purchase from Australia or New Zealand, please go to www.smai.com.au

Please be aware that Import Duties and Taxes may be charged by your local customs authorities. If these charges are not paid at the arrival of the orders, all parcels will automatically be returned to our warehouse. SMAI is not responsible for these related costs. SMAI will not refund you if you do not pay these related costs.

14 day returns

We offer 14 day returns for change of mind or claims against the discrepancies with orders.

To be eligible for a return, your item:

  • Must be unused and in the same condition that you received it
  • Must be returned within 14 calendar days of receiving the order
  • Must be in its original packaging
  • Must have the receipt or proof of purchase (please enclose in return)

Items not eligible for return:

  • Items on sale / clearance / end of the line

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping/insurance/packing/tracking costs for the return of your item. Please note, our shipping costs are non-refundable.

Key Features and Compatability Upgrades for the 2025 model

1. Adapter Kit now available for 41 in to 41.5 in width Power Racks (47in outer width)
Power racks with a 41in - 41.5-in inner width are now fully supported via our adapter kit. Pre-order today and receive a FREE adapter kit, designed to fit racks like, REP PR-5000 and REP PR-4000 or Sorinex 47inch without the need for cross-member swaps or machining. Simply choose your Adapter Kit from the drop down menu then add to cart! No mods required! 

2. Hardware Included for Multiple Accessory Hole Sizes
Every Smith Machine now includes hardware kits for racks with either 1-inch or 5/8-inch accessory holes. This makes it compatible with systems like Rogue Monster Lite and REP PR-4000 or a range of other power racks

3. Universal Fit with Imperial & Metric Measurement Power Racks
Our latest design accommodates laser-cut holes with either 2-inch or 50mm spacing, ensuring compatibility with most racks like Rogue Monster & Monster Lite, Titan X Series, REP PR-4000 & PR-5000, Sorinex Base Camp and more. No modifications required!

4. Upgraded Guide Rails
The guide rails are upgraded to 6/8th inches (30mm) for increased durability and heavier load handling.

  • Spacing Between Uprights: 42.7 inches to 43 inches or 41 in to 41.5in with adapter kit
  • Accessory hole size - 1in (25mm) or 5/8 in
  • Hole Spacing: 2 inches or 50mm center-to-center
  • Available space on uprights: Requires 4 bolts per side, with a total vertical clearance required of 65.5in (166cm)

About Adapter Kits: Some narrower Power Rack systems like Sorinex Base Camp, REP PR- 5000, REP PR-4000 series racks require either the adapter kit (included for free with pre-orders) or a cross-member replacement. Without these, the barbell will not fit into the guide rails. 
Alternatively, cross member replacements with a SMAI Vanta Series Cross member or other 43" cross member like Rogue Monster are suitable. But we highly recommend using the adapter kit for a simple solution.

What is the purpose of a Smith Machine?

The Smith machine is a versatile piece of gym equipment designed to increase safety and efficiency during weightlifting exercises. We commonly see them being used in both high performance environments to support incrementally heavier loads, as well as in rehabilitation environments, where stability and user safety are paramount. Vanta Rack is SMAI's groundbreaking Power Rack series built around an uprated 11 Gauge structural steel and 1-inch structural bolts. Premium powder-coated steel is finished with the highest detail including precision laser cutting for number and accessory holes and maximum protection for barbells and other gear. 

SMAI Vanta Series Compatible products are designed for use on the SMAI Vanta Series power racks. Parts may be compatible with other systems. 

Vanta series uses 11 Gauge, 3x3" (75x75mm) steel with 1 in (25mm) laser cut attachment holes. Holes are cut every 1 in (25mm), and the distance between the center of one hole, and the center of the next hole is 2 in (50mm).

    Provides nice, clean plate storage

    These pegs provide tidy plate storage on the power rack. They're long enough that you can get more plates up and off the floor, and the addition of the PU coating is great for protecting the metal ring of the plates from scuffs and scratches. The 1-point mount (single bolt) holds ffast and saves space on the uprights by not taking up several holes. At 1.75" diameter, standard olympic plates fit with a bit of wiggle room, but I don't know that I would consider that to be a negative. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

    Solid as a rock

    I'll be honest, I had never heard of SMAI prior to a recent Google search to find dip bars for my power rack. By chance I came across this dip attachment, which was similar to one made by a large, well-known fitness company, for almost a third of the price. I took a chance and ordered the dip station attachment for Vanta Series, and it has not disappointed. The unit is heavy (in a good way) and solid as a rock! The handles are knurled, but not aggressively so. The unit is very stable under load, no rocking or flexing. I have no hesitancy recommending this product.
